You Can’t be a Teenager Forever
“Adulting 101” is a new, fun, and informative 10-week program that helps to better prepare teens for adulthood by teaching them the basics of being a grown-up. The Program will focus on resume-building; budgeting and money management; grocery shopping and meal preparation; sewing; babysitting; organization and time management; and more. “Adulting 101” teaches teens the life skills they need as they transition from childhood into adulthood, and focuses on topics that they may not learn through more-traditional academic experiences.
The Program is a weekly series of 10 sessions. Each class is developed and led by a local business leader and subject matter expert. “Adulting 101” is open to all teens. Although it is the brainchild of the Winnetka Youth Organization, it is made possible by the contributions of a wide range of local-area partners and supporters, including:
Dates: Tuesdays, between September 10, 2019 and November 19, 2019. No class on October 8, 2019.
Time: 4:00pm – 5:30pm
Location: Winnetka Youth Organization Drop-in Center, located in the lower level of the Community House at 620 Lincoln Ave, Winnetka, IL 60093.

Every teen that participates is able to bring one friend for FREE!
Teens may register and parents may register their teens.
